I created Mr. Jellyfish after taking a trip with friends to the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island. I loved seeing the gators, manta rays, and giant rescue sea turtles. But my artist’s eye was most drawn to the jellyfish. I took so many pictures of jellyfish, it’s insane. And one of them ended up being my reference for this little guy, “Mr. Jellyfish” - an early attempt at merging neurographica rules with real life imagery.
