A nod at my journey toward improving my health, this painting is trying to capture some of the feelings that have arisen while trying to meditate. Maybe I should have just called it “To Be Present”…or something like that. I love the feeling of light above her head, and the darkness mixed with gold behind her (maybe her past?).
While I do my absolute best to ensure what you see on screen is as true to life as possible, colors shown on screen may vary slightly from those in real life. This is particularly true for this one because cameras have a hard time capturing gold leaf.
