I did my best to put into words what this painting means to me, but I came up short. I can be pretty terrible at communicating what’s going on inside my head, especially when speaking out loud. This is a significant reason why I create art to begin with. I use art to express myself when words fail me. Up to this point, a lot of my expression has been showing my love by painting family and friends, or processing emotions using neurographica. This was the first painting where I tried to capture and express something deeper, something core to who I am. And I failed to find the words to describe what that is, besides saying that I really resonate with this painting, but I’m not entirely sure why.
